<\/a>Are you half way towards achieving the goals you set six months ago?\u00a0This is a great
\ntime of year to reflect on those New Year\u2019s Resolutions.<\/p>\n

But if you haven\u2019t saved for that saddle yet, or your competition plan isn\u2019t going as
\nexpected\u00a0. . . are you going to extend the timeline for another year?
\nInstead of changing the timeline, why not change your strategy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you have truly tried your best to work consistently towards your New Year\u2019s
\nResolutions, but have come up against an unexpected vet bill or a lameness
\nthat means you horse needs some time off then don\u2019t use this as an excuse
\nto extend your timeline.<\/p>\n

Changing the timeline can develop into a bad habit so it is far more preferable
\nto change your strategy!<\/p>\n

Changing the strategy may mean that you spend less to budget more for any
\nunexpected vet bills or you could ride an extra horse to allow for training \u2018hiccups\u2019.<\/p>\n

You may find that if you work a little harder for the rest of the year then it is possible
\nto achieve those New Years Resolutions after all!<\/p>\n
