I love to encourage anyone who sets themselves high
\ngoals, but I also like\u00a0to know if people are serious or if
\nthey are just dreaming.<\/p>\n

Some of the questions I may ask would be . . . what
\nyear do you plan to compete in your first Olympics?
\nTell me about your written step-by-step plan.<\/p>\n

Some one who is really serious about competing at
\nan elite level could include regular visualization into
\ntheir daily plan.<\/p>\n

In this visualization they would picture their lifestyle,
\nwhat time they wake up, how many horses they ride
\nand compete and what elite level competitions they
\nwould be ride at.<\/p>\n

They would have also worked out the finances for
\ntheir competitive career and either have a sponsor\/
\nowner or a sound, written business plan.<\/p>\n

Remember that there is nothing wrong with dreams,
\nvisualization is a great tool, planning is essential,
\nbut action needs to be taken before a goal starts to
\nbecome real.<\/p>\n
